  • The Department of Mathematics and Statistics has an active Research Group working in the fields of Astronomy and Astrophysics. As well as our research projects, we present undergraduate and graduate level teaching in these subjects.

  • ASP4000 Astrophysics Honours

    • Starting in 1998 we are offering an ASP4000 for those who wish to complete their Honours Degree in Astrophysics. The subject will involve some compulsory lecture units as well as an extended fiedl trip to Mt Stromlo Observatory. There is also a research-oriented project, counting for 40% of the final assessment for the year. For further details, please contact either me or the Astrophysics Co-ordinator Paul Cally.
