About stereograms

Among the 400+ pictures in the picture book are 30 stereograms of spatial models of geometries. The stereograms in the main part of the book are in black and white and can be viewed with both the cross-eyed and parallel technique. At least one of these techniques seems to work for about 4/5 of the people I know. One of the appendices also contains all the stereograms, this time arranged to be viewed with a pocket mirror. Even if you have never been able to see stereograms before, this should work for you.

Also check out the web site of The world's largest supplier of stereo viewers, books, projectors, cameras, etc. If you are interested in buying a professional viewer for the sterograms in the picture book check out their page `Print Viewers'. They sell a pretty good one for U.S. $ 1.50!!!

The stereograms and stereogram animations on this page are in full color and have been designed with the cross-eyed technique in mind. (I also hope that you are accessing this page via a reasonably fast connection and a decent color monitor).
