Aircraft and radar observations of clouds, in particular the initation of precipitation in warm cumulus clouds.
Aerosol-cloud interactions including the importance of aerosol on cloud microphysics and the impact of clouds on
aerosol physics and chemistry, especially the effect of convection on transport, removal and modification of the
aerosol size distribution.
