ENIGMA
Claire Ellis
The Enigma Project
Simon Singh, highly respected UK mathematician, author, journalist and science communicator, has set up a schools program about codes, following the success of his Cipher Challenge. The program is touring schools with entertaining classes and lectures on codes and code breaking, and a genuine Enigma machine from World War II. Due to Simon's commitments to his current project, he employed Claire Ellis to take the Enigma Project to the public.
With a Bachelor of Science in Human Genetics, Claire's background is
in cracking codes of the biological, rather than mathematical kind.
She has a Master of Science in Science Communication from Imperial
College and wealth of experience in communicating science to a variety
of audiences.
