A view of the Sun from Monash

Professor Paul Cally

Centre for Stellar and Planetary Astrophysics
School of Mathematical Sciences
Monash University

The solar group in CSPA at Monash can not only see beneath the Sun's surface, it can also see what is happening on its far side! How, and perhaps more crucially, Why? This talk will introduce you to some of the fascinating behaviour of our Sun, and what we at Monash are doing to understand it.
