Future Fellowships and Laureate Fellowships — RESEARCH ONLY
These Fellowships are funded through the Australian Government to promote research in areas of critical national importance by giving world class researchers incentives to conduct their research in Australia. The aim of Future Fellowships is to attract and retain the best and brightest mid-career researchers, by providing their salary expenses, as well as research project support of at least $50K per annum. The aim of Laureate Fellowships is to attract and retain outstanding researchers of international repute, providing eligible Australian Laureate Fellows with Project Funding in addition to a generous salary supplement beyond the usual professorial salary, and salary-related (on-cost) support.

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Statistics — Job Reference Number: 500140
The School of Mathematical Sciences is seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Statistics to join a highly motivated team in mathematics teaching and research at Clayton campus.
The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will make contributions to the teaching effort of the University and carry out activities to develop and maintain scholarly research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.
To be considered, you will have a PhD in probability, stochastic processes, mathematical or applied statistics. Demonstrated capacity to engage in outstanding research consistent with the strengths and strategic directions of the school will be essential.
If you have a strong record of research publications, demonstrated capacity to work constructively and collaboratively with colleagues, along with excellent oral and written communication skills, we look forward to hearing from you!
Appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and in accordance with classification standards for each level.
